We know that by the time you find the home you are looking for and have an accepted offer, you are likely very excited and glad it’s about over. The home may look “Just Right for us” or “Perfect!”, but the best way to be sure of its condition is to have a Professional Home Inspection conducted by a Certified Home Inspector. No house is perfect but some homes may have issues with systems or components that do not function as intended, or that may adversely affect the habitability of the dwelling. This is primarily what we are looking for and what most buyers are concerned with. The report will be broken down into 3 Categories: Maintenance Items, Recommendations, and Safety Issues.

About the company.

Robert (Jeff) Woodman’s background in construction started in 1982. Since then, he has worked continuously in the Twin Falls / Southern Idaho Area, in both the new construction and remodeling industry. He started as a Tradesman, working up to Manager, and then Owner of a Construction Business. This broad knowledge and skill base made the perfect platform to step into the Home Inspection business.

In 2013, he started Blue Wing Inspections LLC, since then he has performed thousands of inspections. Woodman is certified by both ICA® and InterNACHI® and recently became a board certified Master Inspector® (CMI®). He is also an affiliate member of the Western Magic Valley Realtors Association and the IMLS. His education as a home inspector is continually advancing through online certification courses offered to members through InterNACHI.

The report that Jeff prepared for us was amazingly detailed... with a lot of useful explanation links and good photos! The house we're buying looked "really" good before inspection, based on the Zillow photos AND my own two visits to the house... but Jeff uncovered a fair number of issues that needed resolution - and the sellers agreed to - including noting that the roof (despite looking no more than 10 years old) was in fact at end-of-life! I've spoken to Jeff several times, and he's very professional, knows his stuff, and is very helpful. We would definitely give Blue Wing an A++.
